Bowling:

The Scottish Bowling Championships will take place on greens in Clackmannanshire on Thursday 3rd July, 2008. Clubs can obtain entry forms from, Graham McMurdo, 76 Woodlea Park, Sauchie, FK10 3BQ. Entries close Friday 13th June, 2008 by post, or electronically from macuncle@btinternet.com

Robertson Bowling Trophy 2008
District 1010 Knock-out Competition

Round 1 of this competition will commence in mid June 2008.
Invitations will be sent out via the District web site or mail box at the beginning of April 2008. All entries require to be submitted by 1st May 2008, please.

Craigendargity Trophy for Blind and Visually Impaired Bowlers

This competition will be hosted by the Sponsoring Club of last year’s winners - a team from Kirkcaldy. The competition will take place during the week beginning 10th August 2008.
Invitations will be posted to all interested Clubs in May 2008.

Golf:

Jackson Christy Golf Competition 2008

The final of this competition will take place at Forfar Golf Club on Tuesday 17th June 2008.
Last year’s Area Group Winners will be contacted by 1st of February 2008 in order that the five Area qualifying rounds can be played during the month of May 2008.

Fishing:

Harry Rankin Trophy 2008

As Loch Fitty has been forced into closure, this event will be held at the Lake of Menteith Fisheries on the following dates:
MONDAY 2nd June and Tuesday 9th September 2008.
Invitations will be sent out via the District web site or mail box at the beginning of April 2008.
